Day 28

38 weeks old today - officially an "outside baby" longer than an "inside baby".

Notice the clock (7:30 AM) - only one of us is a morning person. Can you guess who?

Day 27

Getting ready for playdate - making a mess trying to figure out what to wear. So many choices :)

Day 25

This sweatshirt is actually 10 years old. I bought it for Daniel somewhere around 2001, but it was too small (it's size 18 months - go figure. I guess 1 year old Daniel was a big baby).  Natasha told me to keep it for her next kid.  Then the girls came and I tried to give her the sweatshirt again. This time, she said, "unless there are two of them, I don't want it".  So I asked her what I should do with it and she suggested that I "keep it for my own kid".

So here it is:

Day 24

Current favorite toy - bag of diapers. Always a winner.

Day 23

Latest trick: Lizard tongue - sticking her tongue out at me instead of sleeping.

Day 22

Warning: If you are my mom, stop! You don't want to see this picture.
(But since you are going to look anyways, please know that the sheets in the crib were immediately changed and washed after this picture. The dog and baby were never left unattended.)

Day 21

No. It's not Halloween in January. This is what we actually wear grocery shopping.

Day 18

Incredible how things change in one year.

First a flash back - Jan 18, 2011 (wondering if I'll ever wear a bathing suit again)

And today, Jan 18, 2012 (trying on Alisa's bathing suit and wondering if it will still fit by the time we go to Hawaii this year).

Day 13

Hanging out with friends (notice, they are all wearing the same shirt).

Thursday, January 12, 2012

Day 12

Enjoying the swings and laughing at the kids at the playground.

A more serious trouble maker:

Day 11

Wanna know what Alisa is chewing on? Good question. That would be a bag of breastmilk that I pumped at work. I came home, started unpacking my stuff. I turn my back for a second... and the little monster has my milk! She really wanted to drink it. Poor, hungry baby!

Day 8

You turn your back for one second, next thing you know, the baby has a potato.

Day 4

Today we went for our first jog together. Alisa loved it. This is her on the trail snuggling with a blanket I made (with Mama's help).
Followed by a post jog bath

Tuesday, January 3, 2012

Day 3

Standing in her crib all by herself! Oh and yeah... we wore the same PJs two days in a row (go on - judge me!)

Monday, January 2, 2012

Day 2

I call this one "Go The Fuck to Sleep" or "Ha! And Mom Thought I Was Napping".

As caught on the video monitor.

Finally rested and ready to play!

Day 1

Day 1 - Jail. The gates up are.

Introduction

The idea of this blog started when my friend Sasha convinced me to send her a picture of Alisa on each day of Hanukkah.  She called it her "baby porn". Other friends asked about what life with a baby is like. So here we go - a picture every day of what life with Alisa is like. Just a picture - no clever blog posts or ramblings pretending to be witty and interesting. Nobody wants to read that crap.

Hoping to actually make it all 365 days (well, 366 since it's a leap year).
